Sat 14 Jun 25: Arrival in Delhi
➤ Flight from London Heathrow to Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport, India
➤ Your adventure begins as you arrive in Delhi, the bustling capital of India. After you disembark from your flight, the city's vibrant atmosphere welcomes you. Depending on your arrival time, you might have the opportunity to explore some of Delhi's iconic landmarks. Visit India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers, or the towering Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site that stands as a testament to the city's rich history. If time permits, dive into the vibrant markets of Chandni Chowk, where the sights, sounds, and smell of spices and street food create a sensory feast. Spend your evening soaking in the energy of the city, perhaps enjoying a delicious dinner at a local restaurant, savouring North Indian delicacies like butter chicken, naan, and biryani. Overnight stay in Delhi. Rest well at your hotel, as you'll have an early start to your flight to Leh the next day.


Sun 15 Jun 25: Arrival in Leh
➤ In the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Leh. Upon landing in Leh, youll transfer to your hotel and begin the crucial process of acclimatising to the high altitude of 3,500 metres. Leh, with its ancient monasteries and vibrant markets, provides a gentle introduction to Ladakh. Spend the afternoon exploring LehPalace, Shanti Stupa, and the bustling market. As you stroll through the town, the crisp mountain air and the distant snow-capped peaks set the stage for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay in Leh (3,500 metres). The night will be spent at your hotel, where you will meet your fellow travellers and have a formal introduction. Take rest and acclimate to the altitude. Remember to hydrate well and eat light meals.


Mon 16 Jun 25 - Acclimatisation and Local Exploration in Leh
➤ Start your day with a leisurely breakfast and prepare for a day of local exploration and acclimatisation. Today, you will be introduced to your Tour Marshall and your motorbikes. You will ride the motorbike around the city with your tour Marshall. It will be a short ride today which will begin with a visit to Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most impressive monasteries in Ladakh. Located about 19 kilometres from Leh, this stunning complex is often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Wander through the various levels of the monastery, admiring the intricate murals and the impressive statue of Maitreya Buddha. Return to Leh for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample delicious Ladakhicuisine. Post-lunch, visit the Hall of Fame, a museum constructed by the Indian Army in memory of the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Indo-Pak wars. The museum offers a glimpse into the history, culture, and lifestyle of Ladakh, as well as the heroism of the Indians. You will return to your hotel in the evening and after that you will have more time to stroll through the Leh Market to end your day, browsing through local handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and traditional jewellery. Engage with the friendly locals and perhaps pick up a souvenir or two. At night, just after the dinner, you will be briefed about your itinerary, routes, and challenges. Your Tour Marshall will explain about what to do and what not to do during the ride. Return to your rooms for a restful night, well-acclimatised and ready for the adventure ahead.

Tue 17 Jun 25 - Leh to Nubra Valley
➤ The real adventure begins as you mount your motorbike and head towards Nubra Valley. The ride takes you over Khardung La, one of the world's highest motorable passes at 5,359 metres. As you ascend, the scenery transforms, and the thrill of riding through such heights is unmatched. At the top, the panoramic views are breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for a photo session. Descending into Nubra Valley, the landscape changes dramatically from rugged mountains to a green oasis. Arriving in Diskit, you can visit the impressive DiskitMonastery, home to a towering Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, a ride to Hunder offers a unique experience of sand dunes and Bactrian camel rides, contrasting sharply with the high-altitude desert around you. Wed 18 Jun 25 - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
➤ The journey continues from Nubra Valley to the famous Pangong Lake. The route through Valley is less travelled but incredibly scenic, with the Shyok River accompanying you most of the way. The path can be challenging, with rough patches and river crossings, but the reward is Pangong Lakes' stunning blue waters. As you arrive, the vast expanse of the lake, changing its hues under the sunlight, is mesmerising. Spend the afternoon walking along the lake shore, taking in the tranquil beauty. As the sun sets, the colours of the lake become even more vibrant, creating a perfect backdrop for your campsite.
Overnight stay near Pangong Lake (4,225 metres). You will stay in a campsite or guesthouse, where the starry night sky over the lake offers a serene and magical experience.

Thu 19 Jun 25 - Pangong Lake to Hanle
➤ Departing Pangong Lake, you ride along its breathtaking shore towards Chushul, then onwards to the remote village of Hanle. This route takes you over Tsaga La pass at 4,663 metres. The landscape is rugged and wild, offering an adventurous ride through one of the most remote regions of Ladakh. Hanle is known for its Indian Astronomical Observatory, one of the highest observatories in the world. Visiting the observatory provides a fascinating insight into astronomical research at high altitudes. The village itself is serene, with the Hanle Monastery adding to its charm. Interacting with the local villagers and monks provides a glimpse into life in these remote highlands.

Fri 20 Jun 25 - Hanle to Umling La and back to Hanle
➤ Today's ride takes you to Umling La, the world's highest motorable road at 5,883 metres higher from Everest base camp. Today, you will be riding on some of the roads which are even higher than the Everest base camp and this journey is a test of endurance and skill, with the extreme altitude presenting a significant challenge. As you ascend, the air becomes thinner and the landscape more stark and awe-inspiring. Reaching Umling La, the sense of achievement is immense, and the views from this height are truly spectacular. After spending some time at the top, taking photos and enjoying the incredible panorama, you will return to Hanle.
Distance: Approximately 85 km one way (170 km round trip).
Travel Time: 4-5 hours one way.
Route: Hanle - Umling La - Hanle.

Sat 21 Jun 25 - Hanle to Tsomoriri Lake-Karzok
➤ Leaving Hanle, you ride towards Tsomoriri Lake via Nyoma and Mahe. The route offers a mix of rugged terrains and stunning landscapes, leading to the tranquil shores of Tsomoriri, situated at 4,522 metres. The lake's pristine blue waters set against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks create a breathtaking scene. Korzok Monastery, located on the western bank, adds a spiritual touch to the setting. Exploring the lake surroundings and interacting with the monks provides a serene and enriching experience.
