Arrive at Chennai International Airport @ 0330 Hrs. Welcome to India!!
Meet and Greet at Chennai Airport and transfer to a hotel near the Airport for check-in. Room will be reserved from the Previous night for immediate check-in. Overnight at the Hotel. After an early morning Tea/Coffee at your hotel, transfer to Chennai Airport to board your flight to PortBlair. Meet upon arrival at Port Blair and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Port Blair- is the heart of Andaman. Situated in the Bay of Bengal, Port Blair is a union territory of India the capital city of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The small little town is rich in history and beauty and is the
gateway to the other exotic islands that lie around. The civilization in this town dates back to the 18th century. It was around late 1789, that the Government of Bengal established a penal colony.
The name Port Blair was in honor of Lieutenant Archibald Blair and Admiral Port Cornwallis of the British East India Company. It was during the Indian Rebellion of 1857 that a convict establishment was forged. India back then was a country fraught with violence, and the most dangerous convicts and political prisoners of those times were sent here. The rest of the day is free for independent activities. Thu 13 Mar 25: - Port Blair Havelock
Breakfast at the Hotel. Later transfer to Ferry Jetty to board the Ferry for Havelock depart at 12:30 hrs.
It takes 1.5 Hrs. approx. to reach Havelock Jetty. Meet upon arrival at Havelock Jetty and transfer to your Hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for independent activities. Havelock Island - was previously named after a British general, Sir Henry Havelock, who served in India. In December 2018, it was renamed, by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, as Swaraj Island as a tribute to Subhas Chandra Bose. Bose had hoisted the Indian flag at Port Blair on 30 December 1943 and proclaimed the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as liberated from British rule. He subsequently named Neil Island Shaheed Dweep and Ross Island was renamed Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep as well.

Early breakfast at the Hotel. Later, pick up from your hotel and transfer to Ferry Jetty to board the Ferryfor Port Blair. Depart from Havelock Jetty at 8:00 Hrs. - arrive at Port Blair Jetty at 9;30 Hrs.
Again it will take 1.5 Hrs. by Ferry to reach Port Blair Jetty. Meet upon arrival at Port Blair Jetty andtransfer to your hotel for check in. Standard check in time at the Hotel is 14:00 hrs hence after keeping your luggage at the Hotels lobbywith Bell Captain, you will proceed for a half day city tour of Port Blair with your guide Anthropological Museum Insight into the world of prehistoric inhabitants of the island. The Anthropological Museum, in Port Blair,started in the year 1975-76, and is an ethnographic museum. It showcases the four Negrito tribes of theAndaman i.e the Jarawas, Sentinelese, Great Andamanese and the Onges and two Mongoloid tribes of theNicobar the Nicobarese and the Shompens. Since these tribes maintain very little contact with theoutside
world, the museum is a great opportunity to understand their culture and lifestyle. The majorexhibits one can find are shamanic sculptures and Jarawa chest guard. This museum is closed onMondays and government holidays. It is one of the best and most well-maintained museums in thecountry that offers in-depth information on tribes, which are considered to be the oldest in the world.
Fisheries Museum
Over 350 species of marine life are showcased in this museum. Fisheries Museum, Port Blair, Andamans,India is a first-rate museum that exhibits specimens from underwater life, starting from little fishes andanemones and ending in whales and sharks. There is a huge collection of specimens, almost around 350in total. There are corals and shells and fossils of the kind, and also skeletons and remains. Moreover,there are also live exhibits on display of some species. There are preservation tactics in glass, chemicalslike formalin. There are also dark rooms for habitation purposes of the species. The specimens collectedhere are mainly found in the Bay of Bengal and Indo-Pacific Bay. Cellular Jail This three-storeyed prison, constructed by Britishers in 1906, is a pilgrimage destination for freedomfighters. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne bythe convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. Now dedicated to the nation as a National Memorial. Thesaga of the heroic freedom struggle is brought alive in a moving Son-et-Lumiere, shown daily inside thejail compound at 6.00 PM (Hindi) and 7.15 PM (English). Also there is a Museum, an Art gallery, and aPhoto gallery, which are open on all days except Monday from 9.00 AM to 12 Noon and 2.00 PM to 5.00PM. Chatham sawmill is one of the oldest and the largest sawmill in Asia. Chatham Saw Mill is the sawmill situated in Chatham Island of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India. It was set up in 1883 with theprimary
objective to meet the local requirements of saw and timber for the construction works. It isowned by the state government. It is Asia's largest and oldest saw mill. It is connected to Port Blair by a100 meter long bridge. Post visit return to your Hotel for check in. Rest evening is free. Overnight at the Hotel.

After breakfast proceed for a full-day excursion visit Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram with your Guide. Kanchipuram, the ancient capital of the Pallavas, is famous as the city of 1000 temples (still has 124 temples). Kanchipuram is also famous for silk. See the amazingly beautiful temples of Kanchipuram famous for the repository of major architectural monuments; in antiquity, it occupied a more pre-eminent place in the history of South India. Lunch at Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay (Included). Post lunch visit Mahabalipuram.
Mahabalipuram (also known as Mamallapuram). Mahabalipuram is a 7th-century port town of south India. The town is famous for its rock-cut and monolithic temple architecture. Visit the famous Arjuna'sPenance, the Shore Temple, and the Pancha Rathas (Five Chariots) - five monolithic pyramidal structures named after the legendary Pandavas. Post-visit, return to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
